Smart City

Air Homes Club

Air Homes Club is committed to new information and communication technologies to improve the quality of life and accessibility of its inhabitants. Air Homes ensures sustainable, economic and environmental development.

What does it mean for us to live in a Smart City?

Smart Building: automation of the management of sports facilities in the complex. Automated opening of the doors and the reservation of sports facilities through an application, improves the customer experience: simplicity, comfort and efficiency.

Smart Waste: intelligent management of waste collection, sensors measure temperature, dampness and when garbage containers are full. In this way, waste collection is optimized and early action is possible in the event of possible fires or acts of vandalism.

Smart Pedestrian Crossing: an integrated lighting system that combines sensors and led panels, a solution designed to minimize collisions on public roads.

Cloud platform for citizen participation: allows direct communication with neighbors on initiatives, proposals, events, recommendations. Air Homes is committed to involving all owners and visitors, which will contribute to improving the quality of life of the neighborhood community.

Control Centre: designed to coordinate preventive surveillance of the security of the area.

Thinking City: an integrating platform for all these services, it will allow an economical and efficient management of the resources of the urban area.

Air quality

The objective is to preserve air quality, which is why Air Homes Club is so committed to energy efficiency to ensure that pollutant emissions in the air are as low as possible and to ensure that the air quality index is maintained as per standards.

To this end, a meteorological station has been installed within the golf course facilities that obtains air samples on a daily basis. Thanks to this station, it is confirmed that in Air Homes Club the presence of carbon dioxide is 35% lower, there are 74% fewer particles in suspension and that the presence of ozone is 89% lower.

Energy efficiency

Energy efficiency

The residential project uses energy from renewable sources that exists in the urbanization itself through the hydroelectric generation of the lake.

With the 2Gwh generated by the lake, more than 30% of the total energy demand will be served. All this will allow Air Homes Club to be the first urbanization with zero CO2 emissions, together with the electrification of heating and cooling systems, will result in optimal air quality.

In order to achieve 100% renewable energy, the rest of the demand will be covered by photovoltaic installations in each home or in an aggregate manner.

Energy efficiency also takes into account the energy demands derived from mobility, which is why the infrastructure of charging points for electric vehicles will be incorporated.

This concept will also be applied continuously as the houses and the corresponding equipment needs develop.

In this quest for energy and clean efficiency, homes will be equipped with an aerothermal system.

BREEAM is the world's most widely used environmental, social and economic sustainability assessment and certification method, with a great impact on urban projects.

Bases of the BREEAM certification:

  • Climate and energy (energy efficiency, renewable energy, urban facilities, risk of flooding)
  • Community (management and use)
  • Site design (landscaping, accessibility and security, green areas)
  • Ecology (biodiversity plan, native flora and ecological information)
  • Sustainable transport (public transport, bike lanes, parking and traffic impact study)
  • Resources (local and / or ecological materials, water management, composting)
  • Economy (employment, new businesses and investment)
  • Building Certification.
